Abstract: Based on the semiotics of passions (Greimas and Baroni), the theory of configuration (Paul Ricoeur) and territorial ecogonenesis (Claude Raffestin), the narratological analysis of Fī l-ṭufūla strives to demonstrate that the space of memories of narrator is an actor in the identity construction of the protagonist between two cultures and, conversely, undergoes the action of reconfiguration and recomposition implemented by the memory of the feelings of the protagonist.
