Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Instrucciones para enviar trabajos a MVM: Cuadernos de Estudios Manuel Vázquez Montalbán:

Por favor envíe los manuscritos electrónicamente en formato Word con los márgenes 2.5 y el espaciado 1.5. Utilice Times New Roman, 12 p y el texto formateado como Normal.

  • La extensión de los artículos no debe sobrepasar los 50.000 caracteres.
  • No utilice márgenes derechos rectos o sangría para la primera línea en un párrafo.
  • Haga en su lugar una línea en blanco completa para cada nuevo párrafo.
  • Mantenga las figuras y las tablas donde pertenecen en el texto. Proporcionarlos también en archivos separados; Un archivo para cada tabla / figura, los nombre de la Figura 1, etc. Envíelos como archivos suplementarios.
  • Evite usar notas a pie de página.
  • Las citas incluidas en el texto deben encomillarse, las citas largas deben escribirse sin comillas y en formato 9 p de Times New Roman y deben sangrase.

REFERENCIAS: Las referencias se colocan al final del manuscrito, siguiendo el estilo MLA 7 edition.
