About the Journal

Focus and Scope

MyN is an international academic journal that publishes research articles in the field of interdisciplinary memory studies, particularly related to the Spanish-speaking world. Besides research articles we publish texts on curricular developments, descriptions of current research projects and summaries of doctoral dissertations that are linked to our thematic focus. All contributions have to be written in Spanish, with an abstract in English.

Peer Review Process

MyN only accepts original manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere before and that are not to be published elsewhere if and as long as the manuscript is under revision for MyN. All manuscripts are revised by two independent reviewers and by the journal editors who will communicate the results of the review process to the authors, including possible instructions for revisions.

Publication Frequency

We publish complete volumes of the journal: either general issues or special issues edited by guest editors. Furthermore, we publish individual articles continually, in volumes that are ‘in progress’.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
