Launching CLARA Special issue no 2: The Classical in Contemporary Art and Visual Culture

CLARA is pleased to announce the launch of its Spesical issue no 2 "The Classical in Contemporary Art and Visual Culture".  Introducing the issue is professor Bente Kiilerich and her article "Material Transformations of Antique Sculpture in Contemporary Art" relates especially strongly to the ways in which  antique statues have been reinterpreted by artists of very different backgrounds. New scholarly articles on a wide range of topics are soon to follow!
