Brøkundervisning på barnetrinnet - aspekter av en lærers matematikkunnskap

Dette er en kasusstudie av en matematikktime som omhandlet brøk med en lærer, her kalt Berit. Formålet med studien var å undersøke hvordan lærere drar veksler på sine kunnskaper i matematikk og matematikkdidaktikk i undervisningen. Som teoretisk rammeverk og analyseverktøy har jeg brukt blant annet ”The Knowledge Quartet” (Rowland, Huckstep, & Thwaites, 2005). Jeg diskuterer gjennomføringen av timen og drøfter hvorfor læreren fikk vanskeligheter med å illustrere brøker større enn en hel. På bakgrunn av analysen av denne timen, diskuterer jeg til slutt hvilke aspekter av en lærers matematikkkunnskaper det er viktig å vektlegge i lærerutdanningen.Downloads
