Lærebokas dominerende posisjon i historieundervisningen - bare for elevenes skyld?

Spørsmål stilles ved historielæreres holdninger og bruk av læreverket i forberedelsen av undervisningen og i selve undervisningen. Sju intervjuer med historielærere i vgs. er empirien. Svært mye av lærernes forberedelse for undervisningen og selve undervisningen kretser omkring spørsmålet: Hvordan presentere lærebokstoffet på en slik måte at elevene får med seg kunnskapen – “vite-at”-kunnskapen. Til tross for denne læreboksentrereingen henter lærerne stoff utenfor læreverket. Metodekunnskapen - "vite-hvordan" viser seg å utgjøre en utfordring for lærerne som ikke alltid får tid til dette. Læreplanpunktet ”presentere en historisk person og drøfte hvordan samtidige ideer og samfunnsforhold påvirket denne personens tenkemåter og handlingen” er framme hos alle lærerne. Dette vitner om en praksisnær relisering av historiebevissthetsdidaktikken.Downloads
