Korpuslingvisten i klasserommet: lingvistiske profiler i fremtidens språkundervisning

Den teknologiske utviklingen har gitt informasjonsalderens lingvister tilgang til mye større datamengder enn før. Mens datainnsamling bare for noen få år siden krevde mye tid og arbeid, er data i dag bare noen tastetrykk unna idet vi kan benytte oss av store elektroniske korpus. I denne artikkelen drøfter vi de konsekvensene den teknologiske utviklingen i korpuslingvistikken kan få for fremmedspråkundervisningen ved universiteter og høyskoler frem mot 2030. Vi foreslår at “lingvistiske profiler”, et sett av metoder utviklet i CLEAR-gruppen ved UiT Norges Arktiske Universitet, gjør det mulig å trekke veksler på innsikter fra korpuslingvistikken i fremmedspråkundervisningen. Tre typer lingvistiske profiler vil bli diskutert inngående: konstruksjonsprofiler, grammatiske profiler og radial kategori-profiler. Vi drøfter hvordan disse korpuslingvistiske metodene kan komme til nytte i klasserommet. Våre eksempler er fra russisk, men metodene er like anvendelige for andre språk, og artikkelen er ikke skrevet for eksperter på russisk.Downloads
