Review process
All manuscripts (excluding editorials and letters to the Editor, but including invited manuscripts) regarded suitable and relevant to the Journal will be submitted for peer-review before an editorial decision whether to publish it is made. Suicidologi adopts a double blind peer review approach; reviewers are anonymous to the authors and each other and authors are anonymous to reviewers. Authors will be informed about the outcome of the review process as soon as it is completed.

Manuscript organization
Choose an apt, short and concise title. The introduction section should briefly orient the reader to the subject. Use non-numbered informative subheadings in separate lines throughout the manuscript to make the manuscript more reader-friendly. Empirical studies involving human study subjects should make clear in the Methods section that informed consent was obtained from subjects who participated in the study, and that the study had been approved by an Internal Review Board or Ethics Committee.

Methods, materials and results should be described in separate sections. The most important results should be discussed in a separate section and implications for further research, practice and/or prevention be highlighted.

Tables and figures should be numbered and included at the end of the manuscript (after the References section) and not be embedded in the manuscript text. Each table and figure must be self-explanatory through the use of short informative titles and clear legends.

The manuscript can carry up to 3 illustrations excluding tables, figures and graphs. Illustrations, tables and figures may be submitted in colour. Illustrations should be submitted as separate electronic files with high resolution. Footnotes should be avoided in the manuscript text, but are allowed in tables and figures.

All the references should be listed alphabetically at the end. The titles of journals should be abbreviated using Index Medicus:

http://www2.bg.am.poznan.pl/czasopisma/medicus.php?lang=eng. Make sure that all references in the list have been cited in the text.
